Directions to Legend Oaks

From West Ashley:

Get onto 61North (Ashley River Road).  Pass Middleton Place and stay on 61.  Do not turn off to the right where the sign says Hwy 165 to Summerville; stay on 61.

You will go through a traffic light.  After light go 1.1 miles. 

You will pass Beech Hill School on your right.  On the left will be the entrance to Legend Oaks. (Go into second entrance, which is the main gate.)

Follow this road around to the club house and tennis courts are to the left of the clubhouse.

From East Cooper:

Take 526 across Ashley River.  Take first exit after Ashley River to 61 North.  Right on Bees Ferry.  Left on 61 North.  Pass Middleton Place and stay on 61.  Do not turn off to the right where the sign says Hwy 165 to Summerville; stay on 61.

You will go through a traffic light.  After light go 1.1 miles. 

You will pass Beech Hill School on your right.  On the left will be the entrance to Legend Oaks. (go into second entrance, which is the main gate.)

Follow this road around to the club house and tennis courts are to the left of the clubhouse.

 

 

OR, if taking Ravenel Bridge instead of 526 . . .

take I-26/526 to Airport Road, left on Michaux Parkway to Dorchester, right onto Dorchester, left on 165 S/Bacons Bridge Rd., right onto 61, follow directions above once on 61.

 

OR, take Ravenel Bridge to crosstown, after Ashley River Bridge take immediate right onto 61 and stay on 61 all the way, follow directions above for entrance to club.

From Charleston via I-26:

Take exit 199A (alt. 17A south), which is also Main Street, Summerville.

Follow Main Street past North Main Market Shopping Center on your left.

At the end of North Main Market is Lowes.  At the traffic light by Lowes turn left (the left 2 lanes are turn lanes and the sign says to Hwy 78.)  You are now on the Berlin Meyers Parkway.  Stay on the Parkway through four traffic lights.  At the fifth light the Parkway ends.  Turn left onto East Carolina, Hwy 165.

Get into the right hand lane (if you turn left from the middle lane that puts you in the right hand lane).  Stay on this road for several miles.  You will cross over Dorchester Rd.

After you cross over Dorchester, go about 1 mile ...You will come to a light at the intersection of 165 and Hwy 61.  Turn right onto 61.
