Coordinator Responsibilities - Charleston Area Ladies' Tennis Association

Board Member

The division coordinator must be able to attend Board meetings and serve as a voting member of the CALTA Board.

Roster Compliance

The division coordinator will review MatchTime rosters for her division(s) and communicate with captains who have non-paid players shown. Non-paid status will NOT allow that player to be clicked on the drop-down menu to be put into a lineup. However, on the off chance that a captain chooses not to do her lineups from MatchTime and when entering scores the home captain finds someone has played (and won her court) who was not listed as paid, then she will contact the division coordinator. The coordinator will determine if the point earned will be reversed and given to the other team based on whether she has corresponded with that captain previously about the player-in-question’s non-paid status.

Division Scorekeeper

The division coordinator shall make sure the captains in her division(s):

know how to enter their scores in MatchTime
enter scores in MatchTime within 24 hours of match completion
ensure captains communicate their makeup date plans for matches that get canceled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

Division Grievance Mediator

The division coordinator shall serve as the mediator between the captains of the teams involved in the grievance and the CALTA Board:

gather information from both team captains if a grievance is filed and inform the CALTA Board members of the issue
